Hi.  It is something we'll have to look into. Earlier versions of the Fire did not support it.

Hi.  According to my research the requirements on the Amazon platform have not changed.  In order to use voice search on the Fire devices you actually have to tie in with Alexa which is a centralized service.

Our Emby Alexa skill should be able to do this for you and then will be able to control our app on the device once items are found.

The Google integration isn't available on Amazon devices.  Google works differently though and, on those devices, we can return local results from their voice search.
