Misinthe 46 Posted September 30, 2021 Posted September 30, 2021 Hello everyone, A little back story, I changed ISP last year, and had to replace my modem (from DSL to Cable), I just went back to my old ISP and I am using my old modem, but now, my remote connections are not working, they used to work before with the old modem. I have checked port forwarding and it works, and it works fine in the LAN. Any suggestions? Thank you!

I get an ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT error when I try a browser, on the app it just says it can't connect to the server. I can't ping it from outside either. When I get home I'm going to factory reset my Router and see if that helps, for some reason as well, the router is only giving me 100MB/s instead of 1000MB/s.

I spent all Friday trying to reset my Router and I wasn't able to work on it during the weekend, still trying to unpack the house. I am still having this issue, the reset on the modem fixed the internet issue, I'm not getting over 600GBs connection, but I can't reach the server from outside still. I have tried the steps in the network troubleshooting multiple times without any success.

This would probably be the best option if you've already went through our KB articles. Some ISPs block remote access but this is something we can check as well.
