ServerWMC (forgetfullness/portforward issue?)

I've just got a new isp. With the new router swmc got broken, I've had a look around and can't find my old posts.. I had a similar issue before...

I've port forwarded 192.168.1.50:9080

But I get "waiting for client" in swmc ui and >this> http://1drv.ms/1tavfoF

In the server.

Can't remember how I fixed it! Help please!!!!!

I don't understand.  Why do you have to port forward at all?  If swmc and mbs are on different machines you just need to tell mbs the ip address (or name) of the wmc machine.  I also can't see why a new isp would make any difference.

TBH I didn't/don't understand why?? It's on the same pc... I assumed it was a virtual device type set up. It said port 9080 so I just did it after it wouldn't work!!!

Purely coincidental then that it broke???

I'll get some logs up when I've finished work tomorrow!

From what you describe it sounds like swmc and MBS aren't getting a socket connection.  So if they are on the same machine, in the swmc plugin settings make sure the machine name is set to 'localhost' and the port is 9080.

for some obscure reason I've given the server 150 this time round so 50 doesn't connect!!

So I guess the isp is innocent .  Glad you got it working.
