Shield connetion using my reverse proxy instead of direct connect

My server is at home and my shield also I just noticed by using emby connect/pin it connect to outside thru my proxy, instead of a direct LAN connection and on the same token using "allow a numeric pin code on the LAN" is not accepted on the shied side?

Hi, sounds like you need to configure your reverse proxy and/or emby server network settings so that the server is able to see the original ip addresses of the remote devices and can correctly determine what is inside and outside your network.

Additionally, avoid over-configuring emby server network settings as they will allow you to make your own mess and cause this sort of problem.

Maybe I should put my LAN  IP address in the second field and it does not explain why allow a numeric pin code on the LAN" is not accepted on the shied side?

What is the reason for having localhost (127.0.0.1) in the first field? That IP address has a specific purpose and is neither a network or a subnet.
