Audio drifted after playing a while

The audio got out-of-sync after watching the video for a while.  Pause, play did not fix it; but stop, start did fix it.  Any clues what happened?

Hi.  This was a live TV recording?  If you play it in something like Windows media player, does the audio drift?

It is a video of a TV show, not live TV.

If you are asking me to watch the entire video again, I'm not up to that.  That is introducing many new variables also.

How was the video created?  Since it is ts I was assuming it was a recording.  It is possible that the sync problem exists in the recording.

Emby recorded it from the HDHomeRun tuner.  If it exists in the recording, then I must have stopped it and started it at exactly the time the sync corrected itself during recording!
