Password reset

I no this was asked before but how do reset the password im so stuck any help would be appreciated I have emby on me synology nas

I am confused, does the Forgot password option not tell you everything?  Or are you saying you do not know how to get to that location to read the instructions in said txt file?

Remember there can be two different account for every users (Local user and Connect user).  You may need to be specific on which you are trying to reset also as you are logged on here I would not think it would be your Connect account.

Since you are on Synology you have to SSH to that path or possibly use a tool like WinSCP.  Beyond that @cayarsor @FrostBytemay be able to assist you more.

Have you ever used putty, terminal, winscp, or any ssh client before?

If you need it here is a Synology kb on how to SSH into your NAS.  You should then be able to access your file and do whatever you need.  I'll be here for a little while if you need help, or @cayars might be able to remote into your NAS if you prefer to do that

This was resolved with a remote support session after installing WinSCP to gain access to the Synology file system.
