Disable background video?

I'm not really sure what this functionality is called, but when I exit a show it continues to play behind the various screens. I looked through all the settings and didn't see anything that seemed related to this. Is there a way to disable it?

I think thats just normal behaivor like xbmc ect...you can do other things when a show is playing. 

 

 

If you hit stop it continues to play though?

No, if I hit stop before exiting the player it does not continue to play. I was hoping there was a setting that would stop the movie when exiting, rather than having to manually click stop then exit.

But you may not want it to stop whatever is playing back, what if you are channel surfing on live tv
