jsc1205 51 Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 (edited) While using Emby (latest version), I'm noticing that if I play back a movie in Dolby Atmos, TrueHD, DTS-X etc, it is not showing up as such on my Denon receiver. It's showing up as "multi-channel 7.1". Not exactly sure why since I do not recall this happening before. Tried Plex and it comes through just fine and registers on the Denon. Using the latest Shield TV Pro and HDMI passthrough is on and set to "Use the audio format your audio device reports supporting (recommended)". Shield is connected via HDMI straight to the Denon receiver. Any ideas what could be causing this? Edited September 26, 2021 by jsc1205

ebr 16199 Posted September 26, 2021 Posted September 26, 2021 Hi. Please be sure to send a log from the app (instructions in same doc) after playing one of these for just a few seconds. Thanks.
jsc1205 51 Posted September 26, 2021 Author Posted September 26, 2021 Not exactly sure why it wasn't working correctly before but it is now registering the correct audio format on the receiver
