looks like an error in not encoding correct within the Web-Client:

it should look like this:

the id-tags are correct. Please fix this. Thx!

@Florian2000 The images  are from where and what view?  What browser?

So is this a bug or a feature request to support special characters?  But this character breaks HTML.

Okay I think I see what your saying now "My<Dsmbr", the < in title is breaking HTML.  I will have to do some testing on this track.

@LukeThis is reproducible do to track title, all HTML is broken after the < in that title.

Recording “My<Dsmbr” by Mickey P. feat. Kelli Ali - MusicBrainz problematic name/title

But changing the character correct the issue.

no matter which browser: firefox / chrome / edge <-- all the latest versions.

used client: Emby Web 4.6.4.0

FireTV client works fine!

It is a HTML issues as that character will break HTML code unless dev can code around it or whitelist the title.  But as edited above changing that character corrects the issue.

Will have to see what Luke says but from a HTML standpoint I believe it has to be "&lt;" instead of "<" in the text name/title field.  But do not know if other device will display this correctly.

Sort of surprised "Wth>You" didn't break things also.

it should be solved by code. Whitelisting isn't really a good solution. whenever there is another title like this...it will break again.
but it's interesting, I thought the codebase for listing is almost the same for each platform. but as I can now see web is different to Android/FireTV.

Dev had to do similar with all Artists with "/" in Artist name like "AC/DC" (whitelist).

wouldn't it be easier to just activate UTF-8 in the header?

<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">

It just needs to be encoded properly. We'll take a look at it. Thanks.
