sneubert@orioncomputing.co 0 Posted September 23, 2021 Posted September 23, 2021 I don't receive any messages or anything, but when I schedule a live TV recording nothing happens (except the following error in the logs): Any clues? 2021-09-23 11:57:43.099 Error Server: Error processing request *** Error Report *** Version: 4.6.4.0 Command line: /opt/emby-server/system/EmbyServer.dll -programdata /var/lib/emby -ffdetect /opt/emby-server/bin/ffdetect -ffmpeg /opt/emby-server/bin/ffmpeg -ffprobe /opt/emby-server/bin/ffprobe -restartexitcode 3 -updatepackage emby-server-deb_{version}_amd64.deb Operating system: Linux version 4.15.0-156-generic (buildd@lcy01-amd64-008) (gcc version 7.5.0 (Ubuntu 7.5.0-3ubuntu1~18.04)) #163-Ubuntu SMP Thu Aug 19 23:31:58 UTC 20 Framework: .NET Core 3.1.13 OS/Process: x64/x64 Runtime: opt/emby-server/system/System.Private.CoreLib.dll Processor count: 4 Data path: /var/lib/emby Application path: /opt/emby-server/system System.InvalidOperationException: System.InvalidOperationException: Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object. at Emby.Server.Implementations.Library.LibraryManager.ConvertImageToLocal(BaseItem item, ItemImageInfo image, Int32 imageIndex, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at Emby.Drawing.ImageProcessor.ProcessImage(ImageProcessingOptions options, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at MediaBrowser.Api.Images.ImageService.GetImage(ImageRequest request, Int64 itemId, BaseItem item, Boolean isHeadRequest) at Emby.Server.Implementations.Services.ServiceController.GetTaskResult(Task task) at Emby.Server.Implementations.Services.ServiceHandler.ProcessRequestAsync(HttpListenerHost appHost, IRequest httpReq, IResponse httpRes, RestPath restPath, String responseContentType, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at Emby.Server.Implementations.HttpServer.HttpListenerHost.RequestHandler(IRequest httpReq, ReadOnlyMemory`1 urlString, ReadOnlyMemory`1 localPath, CancellationToken cancellationToken) Source: Emby.Server.Implementations TargetSite: Void MoveNext()
Luke 42078 Posted September 23, 2021 Posted September 23, 2021 Hi there, please attach the complete emby server log file. thanks.
sneubert@orioncomputing.co 0 Posted September 23, 2021 Author Posted September 23, 2021 Here you go. embyserver.txt
Luke 42078 Posted September 23, 2021 Posted September 23, 2021 Why do you think the recording had a problem? It looks like it recorded for an hour.
sneubert@orioncomputing.co 0 Posted September 23, 2021 Author Posted September 23, 2021 You're correct, my mistake, it did record, I dug into the server and it is there. The GUI just does not show any of my current or past recordings, even though it seems to be set correctly.
Luke 42078 Posted September 23, 2021 Posted September 23, 2021 What folders are in the recorded tv library?
sneubert@orioncomputing.co 0 Posted September 24, 2021 Author Posted September 24, 2021 They're shown in the last post attached pictures. I've wiped the whole folder clean now to see if it helps my next attempt. Everything was owned by the emby user so it wasn't about permissions.
Luke 42078 Posted September 24, 2021 Posted September 24, 2021 What other emby libraries do you have, and what folders are added to each one?
sneubert@orioncomputing.co 0 Posted September 24, 2021 Author Posted September 24, 2021 None of that would be relevant. I fixed the problem by deleting the "Recorded TV" library and re-adding it. There's still a bug somewhere in the codebase, but my instance is working now.
Luke 42078 Posted September 28, 2021 Posted September 28, 2021 We'll take a look at it. Thanks for reporting.
