Sharing specific shows or movies

Right now when I try to share a show, I get the show summary and a generic link to the server. Is there a way to share a link that points directly to a specific item in Emby to another user? Instead, I've just been texting out the name/episode/timestamp... This may be an edge case but I wasn't sure if I was missing something.

The Emby share function is completely useless. I've been using the Parental Controls instead with tags. It's not ideal, personally I like Plex's method better, but it's the best we've got in Emby right now from what I can tell. So, for the user ythat you want to share an item with, just tag it with something like "shared" and then in Parental Controls set these settings. It works pretty well, especially if you only have a few specific items to share.
