Not really but it is a really old encode (xvid) which have been problematic in the past.  The Shield does not have a decoder for it so the app is trying to do it in software.

I imagine re-encoding to h264 would provide smooth playback.

I had converted this a while ago. It is sitting there in conversions. What I would normally have done is convert it using hand break and swapped out on the HD, then scanned the folder. But scanning fails. I had a remote session with Cayars about it, who told me, ultimately, I just have to wait for a server update. So I'm at a bit of a loss.

Hey @nickysilver do you know how to get to the Emby databases on the Shield?
If so, could you shut down the server and copy any file starting with library and PM it to me?

I'd appreciate it being able to take a look at it to see what the issue might be.
