It would be a nice time saver if Emby had a similar feature to that in iTunes/Apple Music where you could easily add a song to the last playlist a song was added to (see screenshot).  Here's the current workflow:

  1. get context menu of song I want to add to add to a playlist (by clicking on three dots, right-clicking, etc.)
  2. select "Add to Playlist"
  3. if the playlist is at the top, great, otherwise, scroll to where playlist is at click on it; say it's "XYZ"
  4. rinse, lather, repeat as desired

So, if in addition to "Add to Playlist" there was an option to "Add to Last Playlist (XYZ)," the workflow would be:

  1. get context menu of song I want to add to add to a playlist (by clicking on three dots, right-clicking, etc.)
  2. select "Add to Playlist Last Playlist (XYZ)"
  3. ...
  4. PROFIT

When building new playlists, this would save a lot of time.

Thanks for your consideration!

Hi.  Not a bad idea but isn't the last playlist added to always the one selected in the add to playlist dialog?  So, this saves one click.

The current design does auto-scroll the list to the last one used, but it could be better to make it more obvious.

It does, but it requires a page load.  When you have a lot of playlists, this can take some time to fully load, so what I'm proposing above would not just save a click, it'd save a page load as well.

Ok yes it's a good idea. Thanks for the feedback.
