Sharing a song on Emby for windows

I recently got the Premier package and decided to bring my music collection into the server, One of the things I loved about my old music server was the ability to generate a link to a song and put it in a chat so others can listen. On Emby, I see an option to Share a song, but it does not seem to work. By default, it seems to want to email a link, though I can select to just copy the link. The link is just a link to the server. 

Am I doing this incorrectly, or is the function of sharing out a song not working (or not working the way I wish it would)?

Hi,  There is not a way to do this in Emby as all playback requires the person to login first before they can playback any media.
