RokuGuys 10 Posted September 13, 2021 Posted September 13, 2021 I have this file when played in Shield pro, the audio is distorted on direct play but it’s fixed through direct streaming. Under the Direct Play, it shows as 5.1 channels but the Direct streaming shows 7.1 channels with the container being the same in both scenarios. (Mkv). Does that mean the file is incorrectly saved as 5.1 channels when it has 7.1 channels which is causing the error? It plays correctly in my Emby server running windows 10 though the audio is rendered as AAC while it’s originally DTS. I guess depending on the player it renders differently?
