Playback controls missing 3.2.08

I'm on Android app v3.2.08, OnePlus 8 Pro.

Not sure how long this issue has been present. Haven't streamed to the app on a while. During playback, tapping the video doesn't pull up the pause and back buttons, or the playback position slider or other buttons along the bottom, or even the media logo that's usually in one of the corners. So there's no way for me to pause playback or even exit the video without accessing the device's back button/gesture.

Still works perfectly on mobile web browser.

Well, fxxx me. I force quit the app, even rebooted my entire device before testing it again and posting here.

But what does my phone do? Decides to go back to working perfectly after I press the Submit button.
