oceanclub 12 Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 (edited) I'm running into a strange issue. Suddenly my library is not updating and I get an SQL error similar to the one shown here: https://support.emby.media/support/solutions/articles/44002210894-corrupt-database So I shut down my Emby server via the web interface then followed the instructions. I checked Task Manager to ensure no Emby process is running. However, when I try to delete either library-db.shm or library-db.wal I get a message that they are open in EmbyServer.exe. So then I check the Services tab of Task Manager and see there are _two_ Emby Server services: "Emby Server" and "EmbyServer". Anyone know what might be going on here? EDIT: I went ahead and deleted one of those services and hopefully this should work - I figure the SQL error was because two server instances were competing - but I'm still not sure how I ended up with two services. Luke 42080 Posted September 9, 2021 Posted September 9, 2021 Hi, Emby Server doesn't create any windows services so I'm not sure either. You may have run the service creation steps multiple times, but in any case, let us know if this resolves it for you. Thanks.
