dfou2 0 Posted September 8, 2021 Author Posted September 8, 2021 A screen of the memory consumption..
Q-Droid 989 Posted September 8, 2021 Posted September 8, 2021 Uninstall the DLNA plug-in and restart your server. If the problems continue then attach the full server logs, not snippets. If you do need DLNA it can be reinstalled later and if your server crashes again also provide those logs as attachments for the devs to review.
dfou2 0 Posted September 8, 2021 Author Posted September 8, 2021 Thank you for your answer I've just follow your advices, see you tomorrow or later to see if the problem is solved
Luke 42078 Posted September 8, 2021 Posted September 8, 2021 A better solution would be to put the dlna plugin back and close the ports on your server machine because it looks like you have every single port exposed on the internet. 1
dfou2 0 Posted September 8, 2021 Author Posted September 8, 2021 why are you saying that ? here is the result of $ sudo netstat -tulpn | grep LISTEN tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:80 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 3589/nginx: master tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:53 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 555/named tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:21 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 562/sshd tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:22 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 562/sshd tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:61209 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 23015/python3 tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:953 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 555/named tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:443 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 32431/openvpn tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:1443 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 3589/nginx: master tcp6 0 0 :::53 :::* LISTEN 555/named tcp6 0 0 :::21 :::* LISTEN 562/sshd tcp6 0 0 :::22 :::* LISTEN 562/sshd tcp6 0 0 ::1:953 :::* LISTEN 555/named tcp6 0 0 :::8096 :::* LISTEN 28286/EmbyServer
Luke 42078 Posted September 8, 2021 Posted September 8, 2021 Because it looks like your server is getting dlna traffic from random internet addresses, which would only be possible if that were the case. You can treat the symptoms if you want and just remove the dlna plugin if you don't use dlna, but that's not the actual source of the problem.
dfou2 0 Posted September 11, 2021 Author Posted September 11, 2021 dlna plugin was indeed the problem, thanks a lot !
Q-Droid 989 Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 You should still follow the advice from @Luke and make sure you server is secure. It did look like too many services are accessible from the internet.
