PaulLamber 1 Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 Hi, I had a working ssl connection to my server, and the certificate was expired. So I installed a new (officially signed) certificate, a pfx file with password, just like the previous one, but it won't work. The log file shows access denied, but the folder where the certificate is located, is the same as before. I also tested the certificate with certutil -dump "certificate.2021.pfx" and got a "Encryption test passed" How can this be fixed? embyserver.txt
Carlo 4561 Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 What are the permissions on the actual file? What OS are you running on?
PaulLamber 1 Posted September 7, 2021 Author Posted September 7, 2021 The same as the previous certificate. Windows 10
Luke 42083 Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 You could try rebooting the machine in case you have another program open that is holding a lock on the file. You're asking us how to resolve this, and we can certainly provide some advice based on our experience, but the answer to the question is specific to your own environment.
PaulLamber 1 Posted September 7, 2021 Author Posted September 7, 2021 Hmmm strange. Restarted Emby server a lot after changing something. Did not work. Restarted the complete host => fixed. Thanks! 1
Carlo 4561 Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 Great, glad you got it working! Thanks for the status update.
