kevinp 2 Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 In my TV Shows I have a Mythbusters folder that has been fine and normal for years. I noticed today that the image in the browser was blank. So I told it to refresh the metadata. Now it has some Batman cover with a little folder icon at the top left. When I click on it, it shows all kinds of weird stuff that's not in my library, but with the correct years on the images. When I edit the metadata, there is no "External Ids" section. The folder and file structure has not changed on my hard drive. I have no idea what happened and I can't figure out how to fix it. This is on Windows and I updated to vs. 4.6.4.0 earlier today. Don't know if it was like this prior to that.
GrimReaper 4744 Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Your library type likely changed to Mixed-content upon upgrade, you can check that in Dashboard>Library on library thumbnail. Follow the steps here to change it back to TV shows type and rescan. 1
Happy2Play 9783 Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Lets look a library content type and folder structure for that library.
kevinp 2 Posted September 5, 2021 Author Posted September 5, 2021 The dashboard shows every single one of my Libraries as "Mixed Content", which is obviously not how I set it up. When I follow the directions and open the options.xml file in each folder, there is no element called "<ContentType>", so, I added it to each one. Restarting the server shows the correct type now. Guess I have to rescan and see if it fixes itself. Thanks for the help.
Carlo 4561 Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 Yes do a full library scan from the Library menu and you should be good again.
Luke 42081 Posted September 5, 2021 Posted September 5, 2021 @kevinp please let us know if this helps. Thanks.
kevinp 2 Posted September 5, 2021 Author Posted September 5, 2021 Yes, it worked. I had a few missing images on some of my movies, but everything else is back to normal.
