Hi, if you look at your Collections ID from the library setup menu on Emby server what library type is shown under "Collections"?

Posted

sorry I have no idea what your asking for.

What does it show on your system in the red circle?

You're looking in the Metadata Manger. You need to go to the Server's config page, and look at the Library tab as @cayars shows.

You don't have "edit" from the 3 dot menu to the right?

Posted

OK that is showing as "Collections" type which is correct but your Music library is using "Mixed Content" vs Music type which likely isn't going to be ideal.

Could you run a full library scan from the library menu and see if this removes the duplicates?  If not we will need to manually make a couple of changes, delete the collection library and then rescan to fix it.

no its report or share only

i did re run, no change, and music displays perfect so no sense messing with it.

OT: But mixed content should not be showing media as it does not support audio files.

You can try this

Collections library?!  But suspect a database issue.

That will end you as a spammer, and sure you do not want that, please try to post complete post, not a post every minute or so.

You can now edit your post with time as 10 mins, then you can not.

I was testing something, now "Member" group can edit their post within 10 mins timing from the original post time.

Try this path: Emby\programdata\root\default\Collections and follow Happy's suggestion.

Ok well I found my directory and I just deleted the collections folder, Let you no how I make out after a rescan. My directory is in AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata\root\default.

On Windows that path would be similar to this:
C:\Users\carlo\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata\root\default

Change carlo above to your username used for Emby.

Delete the Collections folder from that location.
