rbjtech 5284 Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 right - and on the ones that do work - they are not using your LAN correct ? - they use cell networks (4G) for example ?

Doesn't seem clear to me the reason or any pattern. For example yesterday on the server itself my domain wouldn't load in chrome, but my work laptop on the same network did load. Today I'm in the office and it stills works on my work laptop on a different network.
rbjtech 5284 Posted September 7, 2021 Posted September 7, 2021 As explained earlier - on the LAN, you cannot connect using an external domain - you have to connect locally UNLESS you have a loopback/hairpin setup. This is normal ! Nothing is broken here .. If you connect your work laptop to your LAN - I expect it to not work, if you then use a VPN on it to connect to 'work' (for example) then I expect it will then work fine (because it is not longer on your LAN at that point).

Ah right that vpn may be an explainer. The thing is this has never been a problem before and always used to work. Then the fact others outside the LAN are having problems accessing emby made me think they were related.
