Why “Allow remote control of users”

Why is this an option and what and how would somebody want to use this?

I noticed under my user when I went to cast I saw other people’s devices I share my Emby with. Why would I want to override their devices ???

Hi, well for example, if you want to immediately play something on a TV app and another user happens to already be signed in.

So you can limit remote access to specific users.

As for cast devices that is in the Remote Control section of user profile.  Everyone's needs are different but I control devices in different rooms all the time, or can mess with remote users if I want to.

I’m not following…. Users that don’t live with me wouldn’t be using my tv’s….

why would I want to cast stuff to their house and tv???

To cast a movie to those elderly parents that may not be technically savvy.
