Surfshark VPN

Finding more and more that I may need to start using a vpn, but I see that it can cause issues with Emby. Has anyone tried the Surfshark VPN service and whitelisted Emby in the service?

I use Surfshark and have never had a issue with it. I have more of an issue using Plex with a vpn then Emby with Surfshark.

I never had to whitelist the program. with plex, I had to. But your setup might be different. Whitelisting is easy so shouldn't be a problem.

Just saw that this topic from long ago came back up. The vpn I use (PIA) now supports split tunnel so on my windows machine that solved all my problems of remote connecting. These days I just use Unraid on a server with dockers and holly crap is that a WAY better solution.
