Ldap setup on Windows 10?

Can someone explain to me the best possible setup to work with the ldap plugin on a Windows 10 pro for workstation (which ldap server to use and how to set it up? how to configure the ldap plugin to communicate with the ldap server?).  Which server address should be entered and what is the visual end result with the plugin working?

Most likely the lan address of your ldap server.

There is no need to setup an LDAP server if it's use is just for Emby.
Normally you would use LDAP when you need to centrally manage users from many different apps in a domain environment.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

You realize your standard Emby license is only for personal use (family and close friends) correct?
There should be no need to have an automatic registration process for this.

Emby can not be used for reselling services without a commercial license.
If you would like to get a commercial license you can email billingsupport@emby.media.

We will need to see/validate proof of licensed content for distribution purposes.

That is distributing content most likely without a license/contract to do so.
But I would suggest we not discuss this here in the forum but instead you write to the email address I gave earlier billingsupport@emby.media to clear up what can/can't be done.
