Folder turns up empty

Recommended Posts

Only one of many folders within a folder turns up empty in a library of type "Home Videos & Photos". Rescan or metadata refresh does nothing.

Have always been working and still is in 4.7.0.9. Noticed when i reverted to latest stable.

Hi, what do you mean by reverted? Going back and forth between beta and stable on the same installation may cause database corruption, so I would not suggest that.

No i didnt. Removed everything and started fresh

How many Emby libraries have you created, and what folder paths did you add to each one?

7, 8 with the self created collections.

\\ip\folder like i had always

Or \\ip\folder\folder

You can not have subfolder of any library be part of another library.  So specifics are needed.

Yes this is the most likely cause. Please let us know the folder paths that you added to each library. Thanks

That structure has never been supported as the parent folder absorbs the media and will not allow the subfolder to have content.  There are several topics on this with the exact same result.

It can sort of work if both libs are of the same type but it can have consequences that show up in strange ways.

It's best to only have a folder one time in any library.

Ok, i can move it. No problem
