Guest Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 (edited) Hi, I have a question and I'm asking for help to eliminate it. I use EmbyServer Beta version on a local pc, where I process new music album additions and everything works fine. I also have the EmbyServer stable version on a VPS. In both versions of Emby the settings for the Music libraries are identical, getting the nfos in US English, which is the only way I found effective to track artist and album information. So I do the translation of such data on the local pc, save and think that the translated data, as well as the images, will all be in the media folders. So it turns out that when adding the new album, transferring from the local pc to the pc VPS, everything is fine, except for the translated information; all are now in English. So before that, my doubt: * Does EmbyServer not consider local data in priority? I believe it rescans the web, disregarding the local data, which should be in the media folders. Detail: When transferring from pc to vps, I noticed that in addition to the images followed the files: artist.nfo and album.nfo Thanks from now on. Edited September 1, 2021 by CarlosLima
Happy2Play 9780 Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 1. Currently music nfo files are only written but not read. There are several topics on this. 2. What is your Music library "Music folder structure:" set to? All my artist images come from my structured /Music/Artist/Album structure, and the rest comes from /metadata/musicartists.
