NailClipper 4 Posted August 31, 2021 Posted August 31, 2021 Hi. A few days ago I had this issue with 1 channel in IPTV where the voice became so deep. I tried recording and it still produce the same effect. Now that channel plays fine. Now I am having the same issue on my browser. The voice became so bad. I clicked on many media and it produced the same effect. I didn't have this issue before this. Any idea why this is happening? Those files play fine on my Android phone tho. I attached a sample. Ignore the lagginess, OBS did that somehow. Thank you. 2021-08-31 21-19-55.mkv
Carlo 4560 Posted August 31, 2021 Posted August 31, 2021 Hi, What does the Media Info look like for this file? You can get this info from the bottom of the detail screen of the media.
NailClipper 4 Posted August 31, 2021 Author Posted August 31, 2021 Here you go. I'm currenrly on mobile. This happen for all media I tried. I didn't have this bug yesterday.
Carlo 4560 Posted August 31, 2021 Posted August 31, 2021 If this is happening to many different files today but didn't happen yesterday I would shutdown the server running Emby and then restart it. Let us know if this helps.
NailClipper 4 Posted September 1, 2021 Author Posted September 1, 2021 I am hosting Emby in docker. First I restarted Emby via dashboard. Issue not fixed. Then I restarted docker container, also not fixed. Also I have just realized that this issue only happen in Firefox. Tested in Chrome and voices are normal. Firefox version is 91.0.2 (64-bit), and my OS is Arch Linux
NailClipper 4 Posted September 1, 2021 Author Posted September 1, 2021 I have just checked. Even IPTV are now producing weird voice, and still only on Firefox.

Solution NailClipper 4 Posted September 2, 2021 Author Solution Posted September 2, 2021 Sorry, my bad. I had my user agent set to Edge for Android when I was playing around with the extension. I thought I reset it already, turned out I didn't do it right. Thank you for your time. Issue is resolved. 1
Carlo 4560 Posted September 2, 2021 Posted September 2, 2021 Glad you got that figured out. That could be a tricky issue to diagnose!
