fantaxp7 191 Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 (edited) I usually use the guide button on my remote to quickly get to live tv. I've noticed over the weekend it causes MBC and/or WMC to crash to the point I have to force close it. I attached the log after force closing this morning. https://www.dropbox.com/s/w1dlvwh5q7cjtwa/MBClassic-192014cb4233827cdb41adb58b1c485de59c7e%20-%20Shortcut.lnk?dl=0 Edited September 1, 2014 by fantaxp7
ebr 16176 Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 You pasted a shortcut to your machine instead of an actual file. However, if WMC or MBC is crashing then we'll need the windows event log error anyway. I haven't seen this (but I don't have live tv in WMC) nor seen it reported before.
fantaxp7 191 Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 Whoops! Could you point me to where that file would be? Thanks You pasted a shortcut to your machine instead of an actual file. ebr 16176 Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 How to report a problem Need both MBC log and windows event log error.

ebr 16176 Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Looks like it is exclusively some sort of WMC issue. Not sure what to tell you to try...
fantaxp7 191 Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 Looks like it is exclusively some sort of WMC issue. Not sure what to tell you to try... Ok. It just seemed like a coincidence with MBC as it's just always worked for me up until this weekend. Thanks though.
Deihmos 169 Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Try uninstalling .Net framework then reinstall.
