arrbee99 1817 Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 I though I'd give it a go, so - I look in my Music Videos > Artists section. I pick an unidentified one (The Jam). I look up the number in TheAudioDB, seems to be 112719. Go to Identify and type that number under TheAudioDB entry and click Identify. It finds nothing. I try another - I look in my Music Videos > Artists section. I pick an unidentified one (Black). I look up the number in TheAudioDB, seems to be 119891. Go to Identify and type that number under TheAudioDB entry and click Identify. It finds nothing. I try another - I look in my Music Videos > Artists section. I pick an unidentified one (Genesis). I look up the number in TheAudioDB, seems to be 119229. Go to Identify and type that number under TheAudioDB entry and click Identify. It finds nothing. Am beginning to suspect a pattern here. Any handy hints please ?
arrbee99 1817 Posted August 25, 2021 Author Posted August 25, 2021 If I do the same thing but with MusicBrainz then it works just fine.
Spaceboy 2573 Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 imvdb plugin has been broken (and reported) for some time

I am not getting that exception in my testing. It could be because you're stuck on an older beta server.

arrbee99 1817 Posted August 27, 2021 Author Posted August 27, 2021 It would be nice if some of the info available under Music Videos > Artists section could be made available to Music Videos > Videos section. I should imagine Logos and some other stuff would be common to both.

arrbee99 1817 Posted August 27, 2021 Author Posted August 27, 2021 Stranger things have indeed happened 1
Luke 42083 Posted August 31, 2021 Posted August 31, 2021 OK please see if the 1.1 update to the plugin resolves that error. Thanks. 1
Cactus 16 Posted August 31, 2021 Posted August 31, 2021 Is the IMDBV still returning all those false positives? I haven't used it in a long, long time as it filled my MV library with nonsense.

Spaceboy 2573 Posted August 31, 2021 Posted August 31, 2021 @Luke unfortunately i still don't get any results returned when searching on the imvdb id or name. however i don't see the error above in the logs anymore. these are the only two lines evident in the logs following a search: 2021-08-31 22:10:44.151 Info Server: http/1.1 POST http://192.168.1.2:8096/emby/Items/RemoteSearch/MusicVideo?X-Emby-Client=Emby Web&X-Emby-Device-Name=Firefox Windows&X-Emby-Device-Id=cb45066e-35fa-4c32-bbc8-1b70fc6d586a&X-Emby-Client-Version=4.7.0.9.
