JeremyR 11 Posted August 24, 2021 Posted August 24, 2021 I was looking at rerendering a few movies. "Hit Man" was one of them. I wanted to see the data Emby displays to make a decision. Did a search, nothing. Did a alpha display of all movies... nothing. Directory of Movies... There it is with Emby files. Scanned library. Same outcomes. Picts and logs below. I also tried deleting Emby stuff in the subdir and scan... nothing. Cut subdir to a temp dir and scan and cut it back and scan... nothing. Hoping "Hit Man" is not a new key phrase in Emby. embyserver.txt
GrimReaper 4763 Posted August 24, 2021 Posted August 24, 2021 Could you show the contents of that folder? Btw, shouldn't it be "Hitman (2007)"?
Happy2Play 9785 Posted August 24, 2021 Posted August 24, 2021 Looking at the log it looks like Emby mis-identified it as "The Last Hit Man" so if you selected edit metadata on "The Last Hit Man" you see a path for "Hit Man" correct? 2021-08-24 14:30:37.923 Info App: MovieDbProvider: Finding id for item: Hit Man 2021-08-24 14:30:37.923 Info HttpClient: GET https://api.themoviedb.org/3/search/movie?api_key=f6bd687ffa63cd282b6ff2c6877f2669&query=Hit+Man&language=en 2021-08-24 14:30:38.237 Info HttpClient: GET https://api.themoviedb.org/3/movie/41341?api_key=f6bd687ffa63cd282b6ff2c6877f2669&append_to_response=casts,releases,images,keywords,trailers&language=en&include_image_language=en,null 2021-08-24 14:30:38.381 Info HttpClient: GET https://private.omdbapi.com?apikey=fe53f97e&i=tt1124379&plot=short&tomatoes=true&r=json 2021-08-24 14:30:39.206 Info HttpClient: GET https://api.themoviedb.org/3/movie/41341?api_key=f6bd687ffa63cd282b6ff2c6877f2669&append_to_response=casts,releases,images,keywords,trailers 1
Solution Happy2Play 9785 Posted August 28, 2021 Solution Posted August 28, 2021 11 minutes ago, JeremyR said: Yeah, Hit Man. Here is the picture Per the log Emby mis-identified it as "The Last Hit Man", so if you when to "The Hit Man" in Emby and scrolled down to media info or selected edit metadata you see a path for "Hit Man (2007)", correct? If that is correct then you have to re-Identify the movie to the correct media via Identify.
JeremyR 11 Posted August 28, 2021 Author Posted August 28, 2021 (edited) Thanks for identifying the misnomer. I know it used to be called "Hit Man" and had watched it on Emby under that title. Now it is "Hitman (I) (2007)" on IMDB. I used the right id and have it properly listed again. IMDB seems to be changing names. I have seen this (i) or (ii) added to names recently. Luke 42086 Posted August 31, 2021 Posted August 31, 2021 By the way according to MovieDb this also should have been 2008. Thanks for the feedback.
