Where is the default metadata folder? I have changed the path and my metadata. The actor has a problem and becomes blank.

The default is under the server's data folder, then /metadata. The data folder path can be found at the top of the server log files.

When you change the metadata path, it is up to you to migrate the existing files, although we need to update the user interface to make that more obvious.

Something like Data path: /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/EmbyServer/programdata/metadata.

But the database entries should be pointing to the original location per the time the item was imported.  Only new items should be looking in the new custom location, unless something has change here that I did not know.

In fact, there is no real solution. I removed all the media library and rebuilt the media library.

I re-established the media library before finally solving the character avatars.
