Emby bekommt keinen Zugriff auf Synology NAS

Hi,

was muss ich machen damit ich auf meine Netzwerkfreigaben zugreifen kann?

Habe Emby auf Win10 laufen und bekomme keinen Zugriff auf die friegegebenen Ordner. Habe bereits einen Benutzer "emby" und einen Benutzer wie im emby auf dem NAS DSM 6 erstellt.

Eben mal ein Update auf DSM 7 gemacht - nix neues.

Habe eben festgestellt wenn ich statt der IP den Server Namen eintrage bekomme ich Zugriff...aber warum?

Hi, this is going to be a host resolution issue of the network.  You could try googling this for things to check.

To narrow down the issue try to ping other computer/devices by name from the PC.  If you can do this on the PC then that would likely mean the issue is on the NAS.  If you can't ping by name on the PC then it's likely a Windows network setting.

You could also try this from SSH on the Synology as well.

If you can't figure this out, send me a PM and I can remote in and give you a hand figuring this out.
