JeremyR 11 Posted August 20, 2021 Posted August 20, 2021 So I transferred Emby server to a new computer. Key came along and it works on the internal network. The name of the new machines shows up in the server sign-in list. But when I try to login from my phone, the connection times out. When I sign in via Emby.media using sign in via Emby I put in the right creds, but it times out again. My server IP on my internal net did change and I can get my dumbshit Xfinity router to accept my ip edits. Can this be the problem? But my emby sign in does have the new network name.

JeremyR 11 Posted August 20, 2021 Author Posted August 20, 2021 (edited) Sorry, Yeah, everything is working fine. doing a transcoding stream on my NUC8i5BEH is taking about 11% with transcoding. About what I expected. After my head slap moment. I originally wanted to simply change my reserved IP for the original server to the new one, which shouldn't have been a problem, but Xfinity made it one. I was going through the doc a second time when I saw the port forwarding and realized I had to create a new one. That was far easier than changing the reserved IP on the DHCP. Just a brain fart. It was as easy as you guys had said and the documentation outlined. Edited August 20, 2021 by JeremyR
