Android tv Direct play not working

Hi there, I have some issues with playing series in Emby (server Linux, client Android TV).

After selecting a movie, it is taking quite a bit of time (3 minutes or something). In the nerd statistics I can see it is falling back to transcoding because Direct Play doesnt work, 

Tested this through web on a Mac and it is working perfectly fine. Please see the attached logs.

Also reinstalled Emby both the server and client. No luck either.

Reproduced the problem and just send the logs through the Android TV app on 15:28 Sunday 15th of august. The local username: Baris

Hi.  It looks like there may be an installation issue with the server as it is unable to start ffmpeg.

Hi, what is the storage that your media files are located on?

Hi Luke, it is located on external storage connected through USB mounted to /media/hdd/

The most interesting part is that some other serie does actually direct play and starts nearly instantly after clicking play.

Hi.  That's because ffmpeg is not required in that case.
