MBT and Subtitles

Loving MBT so far but have a couple issues/questions I have been able to resolve...

 

1) Haven't been able to get subtitles to work.  Most movies I watch are Blu-Ray rips to my server via the BDMV structure.  Subtitles just don't show up at all.  Example would be Thor:  The Dark World.  I have look at the subtitles section but don't really understand it.  Is there a wiki or something out there on how to set this up properly that I just haven't found?

 

2) Since I rip my Blu-Rays via this format sometimes MBT will end up playing the wrong track and not the actually main movie.  Is there a way to select a certain track?

Not sure about 2 I use mkv, but make sure you have xy subtitle enabled for subs to show.

Having this problem too.

Subtitles only play for me on full screen.

When not on full screen I seem to be lucky to get them in the center of the screen, if they even show up at all.
