Happy2Play 9780 Posted August 12, 2021 Posted August 12, 2021 Is there any hardware that actually can direct play 10bit AVC? 1

Wouldn't think so, else it must be a very specific some obscure-type piece of equipment noone's ever probably heard of. Lenghty discussion (with some technicalities) on the same subject: General consensus was that wisest course of action would be to convert them to 8-bit AVC. These days HEVC (8-bit, or 10-bit if your equipment is not so old) is a good alternative for many (most?) people. Browsers not handling HEVC is the main issue, if you need to use them. Paul
