Cannot transfer to destination folder

Checked my convertion and saw that the files are not getting transfered after converting. Granted Emby full access to media folder, yet nothing can be transfered. Is this a common issue?

Hi, I think we've only seen this when Emby Server didn't have proper access to the folder.

appears to be a permissions issue, this error repeats several times

	Data path: /var/packages/EmbyServer/var
	Application path: /volume1/@appstore/EmbyServer/system
System.UnauthorizedAccessException: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path is denied.
	 ---> System.IO.IOException: Operation not permitted

Did you grant read/write access to this share for the system internal user?
Does "emby" own the folders?

Emby has been granted full access to the share. Not sure if it got all permission on the data path or Application path, but hopefully it sets this as Emby is set up?

Did you use the "system internal user" when setting all permissions?  The oldy emby user is no longer used

Yes. So I tried to setup my NAS all over, and now the convertion does not even start, just stopping on "Download". Cannot see anything in the logs even

Hi, what/where is stopping on "Download"?

Added a new file, it get listed but get stuck on downloaded. Start the Schedule task, runs for 1 sec and nothing in the logs

Have you looked at the source file to see if the TV profile would change it in any way?

It could very well be the file was already in the correct format and there was nothing to do.

Tested with a new file. it then started to convert, but added two in the queue. One fails and one says ready to transfer, but fail with same error with access. Even though Emby got full read/write permission on the share and folders

Update: It does replace the file as it should, just leaves a lot of errors. So it works, just the conversation shows wrong it seems

What is the storage that you're trying to send it to?

Posted

Just to the local drive. Only one drive in the NAS, no external

This means it is done.

Yes and no. It still tries to transfer without end, even tho the file was moved and replaced the original. Fun new bug, the converted video went from 20 min to 3 min

Why do you think it's without end? Let's look at an example:

Thanks.
