Confused about which version

Hi guys so on the roku I found Media Browser while browsing through the channel store added it and it works but a bit lacking in some features. I also noticed there's 2 other versions that I had to had through the website one is MB Media Center but seems unstable the other one is Media Browser but I think a newer version with more features but a little buggy. My question is which one is the correct one the official and are the others beta version which one is which I guess?

MB Media Center does not work for me but Media Browser works fine. What do you mean features are lacking? What is it missing?

The beta version of "Media Browser" here in the forum is the official client.

So here is a list of what I'm running

 

Server Version 3.0.5309.26857

Can't run newer because of frame rate big waiting on next release.

 

MB for Roku 1.4 which works but does not show playon channel or live tv favorites

 

MB for Roku off the beta channel also not sure what version just got it yesterday can't connect to server entering manually or automatic unless on a newer server version the dev version of server has the correct frame rate but is buggy will not play recordings and live tv sometimes don't work.

 

Any ideas how to connect on version of server I'm running It has the favorites and playon channel

use the beta channel. it works just fine with the release server.

Luke I can't use the absolute latest release as it breaks my frame rate so running Version 3.0.5309.26857 which works good just can't connect to it from the roku beta the latest dev however works and connects with it and frame rate is good but dev seems buggy causing server to hang

ok on 5309 the only support we really offer is update to the latest. so you can stay there and wait, or you can get the latest and we can try and see what's going on.

You've just tossed around 3 versions, so how am i supposed to make any sense of that

Sorry Luke whichever the latest beta one is that's the one I'm trying to use can't get past connect to server to get version number.

 

I would update to the latest MB Server but my frame rate is choppy on the latest official release hard set by ffmpeg to 23.97 the latest dev of MB Server has that fixed but other things are buggy recording won't play server becomes unresponsive.

 

I know you mentioned the frame rate issue will be fixed in the next release any ideas what I can do for now ?
