ARGH! IMDB obviously never actually watched the Firefly series :(

DOH!

Those knuckleheads got the episode order all wrong.  They are going by the first aired dates, but the series maker Joss Whedon aired them out of order on purpose, for some strange reason.

Now I have to manually rename them all, and edit all the metadata, try to force the episodes to appear in the correct order.  Even the order on the blu ray disks is wrong :( dorks!!!!!!

yes TVDB is correct

can I tell emby to use the tvdb info instead? would save me a lot of work

As long as your episodes are in that order click the three dot menu on the series, edit metadata, change display order to DVD, Refresh all on the series w/replace images.

Note you will need TVDB to be the first provider for images and metadata on the library.

For the entire library?  all tv shows?  don't think I want to mess around with that, manual change might be safer

Well you can do this series and adjust library setting back afterwards.  Then I would lock the series once finished.
