eweitzman 0 Posted August 3, 2021 Posted August 3, 2021 I've been running emby premier in the linuxserver.io docker (https://hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/emby/) on unraid for 2-3 years now. After upgrading the docker today, I can't log in through a browser as I often do for admin tasks. Everything is local: the server's IP is 10.0.0.33:8096 (wired to the router) and the browser's on a laptop at 10.0.0.52 (over wifi). emby wants a password to log in and the user/password I've been using is not accepted. When I press "submit" on the "forgot password" page, it says: "Please try again from your home network to initiate the password reset process." I am on my home network.... Any ideas how to work around this and either delete the user profile or create a new one, or change the config to not require a login? At this point, I can only edit config files (if I knew which ones to change) and can't get to the admin web pages to do any reconfiguration. Thanks, - Eric
eweitzman 0 Posted August 3, 2021 Author Posted August 3, 2021 Problem solved. The docker network was running in bridge mode, so emby was on a 172.xx.xx.xx network. Changed docker network to host mode and all was well.
