Guest Posted July 29, 2021 Posted July 29, 2021 Hi, I found a problem where the cast icon disappears or loses its function when transmitting from the smartphone or pc to another connected device, such as a TV logged in to a browser. Using google chromecast the problem doesn't exist, that is, it works perfectly. So the problem only occurs using WEBCAST. Sometimes the cast function does its job but it loses the connection a few minutes later, making it necessary to refresh the page in the tv browser to get it working again. Is this a problem already reported? and if so, some advance or correction prediction. Thanks from now on.
Gaspar Filmes 8 Posted July 29, 2021 Posted July 29, 2021 (edited) Hello Carlos, I'm also having the same problem, from version 4.6.0 (releases) to 4.6.4, this is having a problem in WebCast, an example: if I log into both: smart tv and cell phone in less than 1min, do so, the device appears when you click on the cast icon next to the magnifying glass. However, after 3 minutes of playback on TV, when changing the content by sending it through the cell phone as done the first time, the device disappears. Even though you are an admin, even multiple people logged in at the same time watching the content, they don't appear in the cast icon (your devices). I'm having complaints that my customers' Smart TVs aren't showing up so they can upload their content to Smart TV. I spent a lot of time using version 4.4.2 so I upgraded to 4.5.2, and they are working perfectly with WebCast, I can send content to my smart tv, for hours and hours, with both logged in to emby: smart tv and cell phone . In the example above, the users logged in and playing and no devices appear in the Cast icon. This is in the new version 4.6.4 as you can see above. Unable to use the webcast, causing the smart tv/device page to be refreshed in order for the device to appear again. tradução/translated: No exemplo acima, o usuários logados e reproduzindo e não aparecem os dispositivos no ícone do Cast.
