Question about my nfo files

Hello,

I have problem with automatic scan of library. When Ebmy Server find new file start downloading metadata (title, genre, poster etc) and it's fine. But it's not download all metadata. On every new position metadata like plot/description or information about actors are ommited (screen 1). When I refresh metadata manually all works well and missing data was downloaded (screen 2 - after manual refresh). It's happend with every new movie.

In Emby Server logs I don't see any errors during scrapping (snippet below).

Maybe someone have any idea what's happens? I'm pretty sure that some time ago it was work good also in automatic scan.

If more information will be needed - I will give with pleasure :)

EDIT: I just figured out on the first screen that info about genre also was not downloading on automatic metadata downloading :(

Hi, when you imported the movie into your library, did it also have an nfo file?

Yes, indeed I have :) I unchecked "nfo" checkbox under "Metadata readers" section in library settings and now seems that it work fine :) Thanks a lot! :)

OK, so this really was a question about your own nfo files and server settings. Thanks for the feedback.

Yes, but at the moment when I asking I didn't knew it :D I have .nfo files, but I completely don't use it, so I forgot about it :)

I'm just curious - this option with .nfo was added in some recent version of emby (recent version for me is let's say - half of year :D )? I'm pretty sure that I didn't change this setting at all, and some time ago it was work well

Nfo support has always been there and on by default.
