jthorn 3 Posted August 16, 2021 Author Posted August 16, 2021 Yes. Using the Alexa command "play audiobook {name}" doesn't work to play an audiobook through Alexa. If instead of the word "audiobook", I use "album" it plays. But every time I do that, it starts over from the beginning so ... at this point I've barely used my workaround. There was a separate issue I described where I couldn't select a default player on initial setup of the skill if there wasn't some other device on the network that caused Alexa to provide me with a list of devices to select from, but I worked around that.
Luke 42077 Posted August 16, 2021 Posted August 16, 2021 Ok we'll look at making audiobook an alias for album and at resume. Thanks.
