Folder structure for Emby

I read here: https://support.emby.media/support/solutions/articles/44001159113-music-naming but i have a question.
I have this folder structure where the album name is simply the year (like below).

\Music
     \90s
          artist name - title.mp3
          artist name - title.mp3
     \80s
          artist name - title.mp3
          artist name - title.mp3
     \2010           
          artist name - title.mp3           
          artist name - title.mp3      
     \2014           
          artist name - title.mp3           
          artist name - title.mp3

Is this folder structure is correct for Emby?

If you browse only by folder, pretty much anything will do.

If you don't, Emby will organise your tracks into artists and albums based solely on the tags they contain.  Tags are crucial.  If one organises the tracks into folders that way (which you haven't), you can tell Emby, and it may use that information to help (but tags remain key).

You will only see your organisation into date periods if you browse by folder.  When you reach a folder with music in, you have a choice of ordering of the view - you'll need to specify file name, I think.

So, if i use only folder navigation i can keep my structure otherwise is better change my folder structure.
The name of folder help Emby to identify the album but tags inside each track are crucial.

Hi, you'll be fine. Emby supports any folder structure for music. What you saw in the kb is only our recommended structure.

Generally, no, the name of the folder is not used for the album, because it comes from the imbedded information within the tracks.
