No Sound anymore. Why?

Hello Community,

My Emby-Server works well for month on my Debian-Linux.
The Problem has begun as I deaktivate Transcoding in settings. From there I don't got Sound on any device.

From now on all work well, but no sound. On WebOS (LG) no sound, on GoogleTV no sound. Direct in emby no sound.

What can I do. I got no further ideas.

Is this happening on more than 1 video file?

Have you tried playing the problem files outside of Emby? i.e. in VLC

In all Videos.

If I play any Video, over NFS as example, in VLC all works well. 
the Problem began, If I changed the transcoding-settings. I regret that since several weeks. No sound enymore.

My Emby-Server runs virtual under KVM. Works really well for months. Transcoding settings changed, no sound anymore. ARGHL

But have you tried to play the file outside of Emby. 

Want to confirm whether it is an issues with you sound device or not. 

Have you tried putting the transcoding settings back to default?

Yes. If I play the videos outside Emby all works fine on several devices.

If I want to play over Emby (direct, WebOS(LG) or GoogleTV and so on) no sound comes.

And yes I put back the transcoding settings to default, but no success.

This  has to be the problem. Transcoding is on False, but why?

Emby will already direct play whenever possible, so you generally should not need to use those settings.
