Hello there,

 

I am wanting to ask this I hope simple question.  I am a Plex user trying to Work with emby now.  I login to the emby app on my Fire tv and wanted to know why I can’t only see recently added media.  On Plex I am able to see the recently added or can go to a genres.  I see that I can do that on my iPhone and iMac but not on my Fire tv app.

Can I get some help,

Hello there,

 

No this is another u it sue im having.  I haven’t had this issue with Plex and I’m using the same file Format as I am using on the Plex server.  Any suggestions?

Hard to say without seeing your Library settings for your Movies, which metadata providers you have selected and ultimately your folder structure for this media.
Would be good if you can provide insight into the above.

Hi.  I don't quite follow what you are asking here?  I see the same items in both the web app and Fire app in your pictures...

The pic is from my iOS app and the Web and in the FireTV screen it looks different.  On the iOS and the web you can display the Movies and TVShows option and it shows you all the movies and TVShows in my Library.  Right now on my firetv it does not show nothing but the newly added and that is all. So if you look Pic 1 is on my Macbook and Pic and shows the my Media and Playlist and Pic 3 and 4 are on my firestick and they are not showing the same.

Curious. You couldn't find the "My Media" row on Android Tv and expected it to have a sidebar? That sidebar the web app uses with TV and Movies under the "My Media" header? By default, the "My Media" row appears at the top although you can change it to any row you desire. You can scroll past rows even though it may not look like more rows exists below or above. The TV apps don't use that sidebar.

Looks like you removed "My Media" from your home screen sections. Try adding that back.
