I am having an issue replacing album art for individual tracks.  I can easily replace the images for the album as a whole but each track still shows the old art work.  The only way I have found is to go to images for each track individually and remove the image.  Is there supposed to be a way to do this in bulk.  I have 1000's of songs with the wrong artwork. I have tried removing from the library and re-adding but they still show the wrong art. both refreshing the artist image metadata and the album does nothing either.  I've used Picard, Mp3tag and Mediamonkey to make sure they have the correct art embedded.  I have to be missing something,  hopefully someone has some advice how how to fix this easier.

Can you show us an example of this?

Please show us what you see in Emby and also what mp3tag shows for the album cover art that's tagged in the tracks.

What version of the server are you on?  I had this issue but 4.6 fixed it for me.

I'm on 4.7.0.3 beta.  I did find a way to fix it by disabling the Song Image fetcher.  I think I misunderstood what it was doing.  I thought image extractor meant it pulled from the file but I am guessing it pulls from a database instead of using the embedded ones. imageextractor.JPG.028ba78ffe28bb933a209633a178854a.JPG

In case I am still misunderstanding something or if it helps someone else here is an example of what was happening. First image is showing the correct album image in the album view.1431165186_albumshowsart.thumb.JPG.9969fa98533bd82fae6a91ca18dde046.JPG

Next is when playing shows a different image for the tracks.

and lastly here is Mp3tag image.

Thank you for your help.

Hi, do you have any artwork in the artist or album folders that this could be loading?

@alkerias image extractor does mean that it pulls embedded images from the audio files, so if you disable that, then you won't get embedded image support for new files that you might add.

No the only images in my folder structure are the correct cover I am wanting to use.

So Image extractor does do what I thought.  Thank you for clearing that up.  I rebuilt my music Library and turned it back on and it seems to be working.  Not sure what got messed up before.
