Is it possible to create 1 library and then add a movie folder and a TV show folder to this same library. I would like to create a VOD library. My iptv provider has vod for tv shows and movies

Create "Mixed content" type library.

I tried that, but it displayed the movies in a TV  series format

What do you mean by that, displayed how?

Is this what you're after, Movies and Shows inside same library?

Yes, but when you enter the library, you see a TV show folder and a movie folder

I'm not sure I'm following you - how did you setup you library? Adding top-level folder or individual folders?

Library setup as mixed content.

Movie content location: public/vod/movies/movies

TV content location: public/vod/tv shows/tv shows

I added both folder to the mixed content library, but pointed them to the following folders: public/vod/movies & public/vod/tv shows, that way when I enter the library the first thing I see is 2 folders, as per image: (as you can see I have a tv show folder, but the movie folder has been named by emby as if it is a tv show)

In the movie folder I am seeing the following: (as you can see there a movies, but emby has added it as a tv show)

Because you have an extra folder there, either add public/vod/movies/movies and public/vod/tv shows/tv shows as library path or move all items one level up.

What @GrimReaper76 said.

But I would ask, why not either use a VOD Movies and VOD TV Shows libraries or just add the VOD content to your existing Movies and TV Shows libs? This last one is what I do.

If I used the last option, what would happen if I already had that movie in my library?

Why have 2 vod libraries, when you can have it all under one vod library? Saves space on the home screen when I already have 9 libraries

There is no right or wrong way, just what we each prefer.
I myself dislike mixed libraries so for me that's a no go on my system.

Personally, I add the VOD content to my existing Movies and TV Show libs so that to end users it's just a movie library and they won't care where the source file is.

I then have a SQL script I run that shows me dupe movies and another that shows me dupe tv episodes.  I have the script setup to generate a batch file to delete the VOD dupes this way I don't have 2 of the same movie or episode loaded.

After trying many things, this is what works best for me personally.
