Howdy, i did't find a similar posting so here's my request: The Description of Cast Thumbs or Movie posters is cut when exceeding the limits of the thumb width. I'd like to see the complete description when the thumb or card is selected, wrapped over in an extended card or scrolling through. Thanks in advance if possible. Greetings

Aber noch mal: Ob Emby die Darstellerbilder sofort lädt oder nicht hängt nicht vom Schreiben der nfo-Dateien ab, sondern ob die Online-Scraper beim Scannen aktiv sind! Achso und du darfst in TMM nicht die "locked" Option fürs nfo-Schreiben aktivieren.

Yeah, unfortunately a much bigger problem, there’s been a major set of changes rolled out by YouTube that have impacted pretty much every tool or system that previously allowed third-party access to trailer content. These aren’t minor tweaks. They’ve fundamentally changed how video data can be accessed, which means anything relying on that method has been affected, pretty much across the board. At this point, it’s not about the plugin itself but the wider "ecosystem" catching up to those changes. Once things stabilise and there’s a reliable way forward, I’ll look at options for restoring functionality, but until then, there’s nothing meaningful that can be done without chasing constant breakage. In short, it’s not abandoned, just paused until there’s a solid technical path that won’t fall apart a week later.

Die Option hat auf die Bilder von Personen keinen Einfluss. Und das ist das Problem. In einem anderen Thread wurde ja geraten, die Online-Metadaten-Provider zu deaktivieren. Die brauch man aber beim Initial-Scan, wenn man die Bilder der Personen sofort haben will. Ist blöd gelöst bei Emby, aber so funktioniert das nun mal leider.

Windows or Xbox? Normally, the app is decoding the surround sound and sending output as multichannel PCM - which is the highest quality format. Are you getting 2.0 or 5.1 PCM?

From what I understand, Mac Arm/Silicon machines still dont have native GPU support.

It would be good if you posted a new version in the first thread when you release it. I'm saying this mainly so that anyone interested doesn't have to read through the entire thread. I installed version 2.7, but it turns out the latest version is 3.6.

The standard Android app lags when loading icons and when scrolling is clunky and not smooth like the ATV app is. im running it on the ONN 4k pro also a GX1 from Rockchip with 4gb ram I also don’t see how to add in the season premier screen as I have on my atv app. Can that be made possible or if it is please tell me where it’s at. now I do like in the android app that as I scroll my “my media” categories it shows random movies/shows from that section. Which is very cool. Also would be cool to have the Halloween and Christmas themes on there like the ATV.

I've described in more detail in previous threads, but its a phone UI and doesn't fit the 10ft experience on a TV, eg the way modal dialogs are shown. Transitions between screens seem slower and with more jank. I've had both running and the ATV app seems to make better use of screen space. is this going to be a 3rd app with a new design? any more news?

Hi, I haven’t tested but there’s a chance YouTube might work on the 4.9 beta server. If not we can make it work.

It's on my to do list. I don't expect the basics should be very different since Radarr is a fork of Sonarr. The thing I need to look into more is how to handle/how I want to handle the tags on the Emby side. For instance, do I just tag a show? Do I have to tag the seasons of the show? Do I have to tag the individual episodes, or does tagging at either of the other levels handle that? Do I even want to tag individual episodes? There's a bit more with a show than a movie...

I am using a dedicated htpc just for emby. Could you please add run at start up please. Agree on the back button situation, prefer for when l look at info etc, i end up out the player. Apart from these two issues am liking the new app..... thanks

It works well on my HTPC. Nice work! What I hate is, that App can be closed with the back key. This means I have to find the mouse to restart the App. This should be deactivated in TV mode at least. I usually never close the app on the TV (HTPC). Even on other computers I do not like this "double function" of the key. When I like to close the app I want to click "close"... So please: Give us the option to deactiavte "closing the app with back key".

Feature Request. A present I have several user accounts setup for family members. When we sit down together to watch a movie we currently log into one account (Mostly mine), so obviously only this account gets the watched status. What happens then is everyone uses my account because there's isn't up-to date and it's "just easier". This results in my account telling me I've watched something when I haven't... I would like the ability to log into my account and select/deselect which other users are present so that when a movie/TV episode is watched together, their watched statuses are updated accordingly? The next time you log in again all other users would have been deselected. It could be implemented so each user account can do this, or only select user accounts can. Even a special "Family" user account, or multiple viewers button as long as everyone's watched status is correct. Even just ticking the users present on the login screen before login into an account.

Not possible for regular users. And to ask a Mod on every update to place it ín first post is annoying.
